Virtual Supper Club-August=Back to School

by Cindi Sutter, Founder & Editor Spirited Table®

With a busy parent or parents trying to work from home, one suggestion is to have foods on hand that even a young school-age child is able to manage for themselves.

A Bento box or a container with separate compartments would work well to have slices or chunks of cheese, meat slices, veggie slices, fruits, and so on. By having them in an easy to open container and all ready to go each day would allow the child/children to help themselves without interruptions to mom and/or dad. Other ideas for foods to have on hand would be containers of yogurt, peanut butter, raisins, and pretzels. - Vicki Brunsvold. Cheers!
