Graham Cracker Crust for Everyone (GF, DF, Nut Free, Vegan)

Ingredients

1½ cups (6 ounces) gluten-free graham cracker crumbs (I like Kinnikinnik brand)

½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

½ tsp vanilla extract

6 Tbsp unsalted margarine (Earth Balance), coconut oil, or dairy-free shortening of choice, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease the bottom and sides of a springform pan. Set aside.

  2. Grind graham crackers in a food processor or crush into fine pieces in a plastic bag with a mallet.

  3. Mix graham cracker crumbs, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and melted butter alternative together.

  4. Press mixture into prepared pan.

  5. Place in preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a rack before adding your filling of choice (i.e. pumpkin pie)
