This recipe features inflammation fighting ingredients and comforting flavors! The perfect start to treating yo’ self!

Ingredients
1-1/2 c. milk of choice (cow, almond, cashew milk work best for creamy qualities)
2 Tbsp. cocoa or cacao powder (unsweetened)
2 tsp. coconut oil
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. turmeric powder
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 pinch sea salt
1 pinch black pepper
Sweetener of choice (try 1-2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup - or 1/8 tsp. pure stevia for lower calories)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth and frothy.
  3. Heat to desired temperature (I pour into a saucepan and heat on medium-high, stirring often with a whisk, or pour into a mug and heat in microwave for about 40 seconds).
  4. Drink and be merry! (Treat yo’self more with some whipped cream and dark chocolate chips on top!)
