Lemon Cassis Martini Recipe
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup Vodka
- 1 t. sugar
- 1 t. creme de cassis
- 1 blackberry, for garnish
- Squeeze 1 teaspoon of juice from the lemon and use a vegetable peeler to peel away a 2-inch strip of the zest. Reserve the remaining lemon rind.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, lemon juice, sugar, creme de cassis, and lemon zest, cover, and shake until very cold.
- Rub the reserved lemon rind around the lip of a large martini glass and strain the martini into it. Add the blackberry and serve.
