Pussy Willow: Keep your eyes out this spring for the beautiful silver tufts of the pussy willow plant that grows along the wetlands here in MN. Their furry catkins are named for their resemblance to tiny cats’ paws! The silver tufts appear long before the leaves and are one of the earliest signs of spring.
