Doors of Eastern Europe

As my regular readers and friends know, I love a good door photo! Nothing really captures the flavor of a city or country quite as well as its doors. And it’s certainly easier to collect door photos than to bring back the wide assortment of kitschy items that many locations offer.

Eastern Europe offers quite an array of doors and entryways! From ancient fortresses to massive Orthodox churches, from modern shopping malls and restaurants to national theaters and opera houses, from embassies to castles, the Balkan States offer a large array of photo opportunities! Enjoy!!
