Grilling Time!

by Zehorit Heilicher, Tastemaker in Residence

The green in our yard and the flowers sprouting with the promise of summer remind us that it is time! Time to sweep our deck, to resurrect our slumbering grille and dust off our barbecue recipes! There is something about sunshine on our face that calls to our inner griller to produce delicious meals and memorable moments with friends and family.

The most well-known flavors are obviously, those of traditional American barbecue: glazed, smoked, dry rubbed, Southern, St. Louis style and more. However, this season, consider going outside the box for your BBQ options and exploring international cuisines. Cultures around the world have developed delicious grilling and BBQ recipes that can find a comfortable home on your table as well. How about Korean ribs, Asian salmon, Indian Tikka Masala skewers, grilled spiced pineapple for dessert, just to name a few?
