With the Fourth of July just around the corner I’ve been thinking about a classic color combination – Red, White and Blue. This dynamic palette is the inspiration behind today’s post where I combine timeless furniture pieces with versatile table décor items that are perfect for the holiday and beyond.

One of favorite chairs, the Riviera Side Chair form Serena & Lilly, was the starting point for the look. Paired with a red lacquer Germaine Dining Table from Priley Lane, the aesthetic is bold and graphic.

Grasscloth Placemats add texture to the table and provides a sophisticated, neutral backdrop against which the patterned plates can shine.

Designed by architect Paola Navone, Crate & Barrel’s new Como Plates Collection features organic patterns and deep blues inspired by the sea.

Lucite Napkin Rings from Furbish Studio and a set of Metallic Print Glasswear from West Elm adds just a touch of glamour to the table.

Lastly, bluish gray paints from Benjamin Moore tie the whole look together.

Enjoy the holiday and celebrate with style!
