Patriotic Parfait Recipe

Looking for an easy dessert that’s perfectly patriotic for the 4th of July?

A made-from-scratch, easy ice cream forms the base for a red, white and blue burst of

sweet celebration.

Start with the Raspberry Ice Cream recipe below and garnish with fresh raspberries, blueberries and a dollop of whipped cream. Finish each parfait with a mini  American flag!


Easy Raspberry Ice Cream


3/4 cup raspberry juice
1/4 cup fresh lime  juice
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cups heavy cream
fresh raspberries and blueberries
whipped cream (optional)



  1. Combine juices and powdered sugar until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add cream and mix thoroughly. Continue to whip until twice the size (approximately 6 cups of ice cream).
  3. Freeze in an airtight container 6-8 hours.
  4. Garnish with berries and whipped cream.
