Ross Bowen is the pit master of Two Little Pigs BBQ and the owner of 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons in St. Louis Park. Some of his earliest and fondest memories are of driving with his father to Little Pigs BBQ restaurant in upstate South Carolina to buy freshly chopped smoked pork right off the pit. Years later, Two Little Pigs was formed. In 2011 "the Pigs" won the Grand Championship at the Minnesota in May state BBQ championship. He is usually accompanied by his trusty Shepherd Brisket.
Ross is active in the community, and uses Two Little Pigs as his arm for nonprofit (ad)ventures. He has cooked for the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities, the American Cancer Society, the Minneapolis Police and Fire departments, and many others.
Ross believes that most food (but not all) is better when it comes off hot coals.
