Pastel Tres Leches Recipe

The tres leches is so easy, I'm almost embarrassed to easy...and fattening!


White or yellow box cake
1 can of carnation milk
1 can of eagle brand condensed milk
1 pint of cream


  1. Prepare cake as directed on box; let it cool
  2. Poke many, many, many holes on the top of cake with a skewer
  3. Mix the 3 milks together
  4. Pour milk mixture on the cake SLOWLY letting the milks seep into the cake (may take a while until it is all absorbed into the cake)

Cook's Notes

Optional:  use whipped cream to cover the "holes" on the top.
