Harvest Green Beans Recipe

6 medium carrots
7 slices bacon, optional
2 9 oz packages whole green beans (steam in bag variety)
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp butter
½ tsp pepper
Garlic salt to taste
- Julienne the carrots to 3-4 inch long strips.
- Cook bacon until crisp; then crumble. Reserve bacon drippings
- In a large fry pan, saute’ green beans, carrots and garlic in butter and some bacon drippings until tender crisp. Stir in the pepper and garlic salt.
- Top with crumbled bacon.
