VALENTINE’S LOVE POTION

Inspired by the mother-of-pearl sheen on the wizarding world’s most potent love potion, this recipe takes the classic White Lady cocktail and makes it all the more bewitching with a sprinkle of luster dust.

YIELD: 1 SERVING
Ingredients

2 ounces gin

1/2 ounce orange liqueur or triple sec

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 egg white

pinch of edible pearl white luster dust (optional)

sliced lemon, for garnish

Instructions

To a cocktail shaker add the gin, orange liqueur,lemon juice, egg white, and luster dust (if using)

and dry shake.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Add lemon for garnish.

Tip: "Dry shake" is a bartending term meaning to shake a cocktail without ice.
