Daikon Radish Relish

1 medium-sized daikon radish, washed and peeled

2 medium carrots, washed and peeled

1-2 thai chili pepper, chopped 

¼ cup chopped scallions

½ Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp rice vinegar

1 Tbsp sesame oil

a handful of roasted sesame seeds


  1. Cut the daikon radish and carrot into "spaghetti strands" with a spiralizer.

  2. Transfer them into a container, sprinkle in chopped Thai chili peppers and chopped scallions. 

  3. Toss in sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil and sesame seeds, mix well and let sit for 10 minutes to enjoy!

  4. Can be used as a side salad or as a condiment on top of grilled meat or lettuce wraps.
