My Trip to Cabo San Lucas - Part 2

Cabo San Lucas is home to some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, as well as some of the greatest fine dining experiences! This great little place close to downtown, was so visually appealing, we were so excited! Bad news...it wasn't open for lunch...really??

What's a trip to Mexico without the appropriately negotiated retail therapy options in downtown Cabo? Do I buy a handbag for myself or 2 liquer glasses for my collection? Do I buy that Mexican embroidered shirt even though I know that no one in Minnesota will think it was a good purchase? But right now as I scan the photos, my big regret is that I didn't buy this amazing iron sculpture of The Last Supper. (see below) Next time!

Grocery stores take on a whole new farm to table meaning with all the food, table items and treats for sale, along with the perfect seat in which to sit, eat, and of course relax.

After a day of walking all around downtown Cabo, we went to a Chef's dinner at our resort, Diamante'. The greatest thing about this locale is you don't need a car once you're on the property. Tiger Woods and Davis Love each designed one of these amazing golf courses, so there are plenty of oversized golf carts to hitch a ride to dinner. We usually walked back to our home away from home to not only burn some calories, but enjoy a very quiet stroll.

The sweetest little works of art were sometimes in the kitchen, but always on our bed, yes, every night...I'm going out on a limb here, but I think they were actually better than chocolates.

Our last night in Cabo we went to The Cape hotel on the beach in downtown Cabo. It was simply an amazing property with fabulous views, bars, and a dinner that included the menu below. This  was the perfect pairing for our week away with friends I've known since Junior High! Thanks Katie and John!!

I forgot to tell you one very foxy little treat that happens while you're warming up hitting golf balls...you've got your own little "cabana style" area in which to practice. This includes a full service bar and food menu! Yea, I know. I can't really drink before I play golf, but it's fun to practice with a little cocktail, then go out to dinner!!
