Grilled Margherita Pizza

I like to fire up the grill for Summer! Father's Day is the perfect time to treat Dad to a homemade BBQ pizza! 

Ingredients
1 lb of pizza dough
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tomato, thinly sliced
1 container Basil 

Instructions

  1. Turn the grill on and spray to prevent pizza from sticking 
  2. Roll pizza dough into a thin, circular shape 
  3. Brush bottom side of pizza dough with olive oil (this will be the side that lies face-down on the grill) 
  4. Once the grill is hot, place the side of the dough covered in olive oil face down on the grill, and cook for 3 minutes with the top of the grill open
  5. Take the dough off the grill, and immediately top the side that was lying face down on the grill with sauce, mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced tomato, and basil 
  6. Put the pizza back on the grill, close the grill top, and cook for 4 minutes
