Asian Turkey Burgers

This is a delicious burger recipe that we got from Andy and Irene at York Farm in Hutchinson, MN. It was passed along to them by their CSA member, Beth. At any rate, it is the best turkey burger we have ever had!
1 lb. lean ground turkey or chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
3 green onions, chopped (or use 1 small onion, minced)
2 Tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce (you can substitute Ketchup and red pepper flakes)
2 cloves garlic, or one long garlic scape, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Wasabi Sauce on Buns
Wasabi to taste
Plain Greek yogurt
- Mix everything together, form into patties, and grill.
- Serve on a bun topped with Wasabi Sauce (We like to mix wasabi with plain Greek yogurt for a tasty and creamy sauce).
- Lettuce, fresh tomato or arugula are also nice additions to serve with it.
