It's not just that when one door closes, another door opens.

When one door closes, Cindi Sutter, choirs burst into chorus, orchestras orchestrate, bugles bugle, marching bands march, dogs catch Frisbees, cats "chow, chow, chow," pigs fly, and 10,000 new doors open.

Kind of makes you want a door to close, huh?

And yes, every year or so a wild cat brings her kittens to our front porch for a bit and then they're gone. They use the evergreens as a launch pad for jumping, the steps for hop scotch potential, the rocks are a place to test their strength and courage and frolicking as the hilarious icing on the cake. Their creative doors are opening and so should ours.
