The Modern Vegetarian Kitchen, from Peter Berley is my go-to summer cookbook. It lets me take full advantage of the glorious produce overflowing farm stands. 

One of the most addicting recipes involves bathing tender-crisp steamed green beans in a vinaigrette consisting of cider vinegar, dijon mustard, cayenne, honey, minced red onions and salt and pepper to taste - peak season perfection!

Build your summer-easy menu with a side of Peter’s Watermelon with Fleur de Sel.  Sprinkle a pinch of course fleur de sel across fresh slices, a recipe from the newer cookbook Fresh Food Fast, and you will have the perfect accompaniments for whatever you throw on the grill.
