Fancy Pants Tablecloth

First of all, a big thank you to our Tastemaker in Residence Brenda Scherping-Westphal, for sharing her amazing textiles for this holiday table photo shoot! She provided the perfect backdrop for a fancy, yet pilgrim-ish, Thanksgiving table setting.
Don't be afraid to mix the textures on your table. I know we don't have these over the top fabrics lying around, but use your favorite piece of fabric and mix it with the simple pumpkins, wooden Indians & Pilgrims, or other Thanksgiving decor.
Get the kids involved, give them a supply of fabric pieces, glitter, pens, etc. etc. and don't be surprised at what ends up on your Thanksgiving table. It allows their creativity to blossom, it furnishes the perfect way to keep them happy while you're cooking and it's a beautiful expression of the love and gratitude we have for them being in our lives!
